The greatest films of all time still require a screen upon which to be shown. A resurgence is taking place across the country as historians and movie lovers alike are finding some truly magical places to watch a film. Some of these "palaces of the cinema" require extensive rennovation, while others are simply awaiting our arrival. Either way, they all share an historical relevance that teaches us far more about ourselves than which is simply conveyed in the screenplay.
These beautiful testaments to the power of filmmaking make it clear that the production process of the film is only part of the show. Fortunately, many of these equisite theaters exist and welcome audiences to this day. Though the revolution of technology and creativity will never cease, we are fortunate that many of our greatest artistic achievements remain frozen in time.
